Infrastructure Solutions New Zealand (ISNZ) line charges include the cost charged to ISNZ by local lines companies and Transpower for delivering electricity to the ISNZ network. We bill our line charges to electricity retailers, electricity retailers then bill consumers within our networks. The line charges electricity retailers charge consumers may not be the same as what we bill the electricity retailer.

Our annual price changes are designed to be a price match to the local lines company charges as of 1 July 2024, plus any local lines company cost increases passed through to us since then and any CPI increase that we need to pass on.
